The short film ANIMA, details a shamanic journey through the dream state. The film is a mediation on the relationships between the conscious and sub-conscious mind, illness and mortality.

The film was inspired by a series of dreams as well as shamanic art from various cultures around the world. The word Anima is the Jungian term for the subconscious personified. Jung believed that the Anima is only perceptible to one's self through the dream state.

So far I have had the wonderful opportunity to work with friends old and new on this project. It is scheduled to be finished and screened at the "Hunger" gallery exhibition on March 8th at the SCAD Museum of Art..
